Updates and a Happy New Year

A recently released Wordpress vulnerability proof of concept forced me to update Wordpress, and as a result, several plug-ins are now failing to work properly. I don’t regret performing the update because not only were the security holes patched, but database queries were optimized.

If you haven’t already, I highly recommend you update your Wordpress blogs now. Since the upgrade, I’ve managed to get threaded comments working, but wp-cache remains unresponsive. Although a surge in traffic isn’t anticipated, loading times are noticeably longer than before.

My latest projects have had quite a success. Laugh Out Loud Videos had 162 unique visitors yesterday, and 30 unique visitors so far today. Google is reporting 14 indexed pages (mostly Russian videos - why, I don’t know) which is an increase from yesterday’s 13.

Stock up on brew early and try to remain safe this new years eve. The crazies will be out, and so will the cops. Until next year, happy new year from Nullamatix.com!

WOOOO!

uummmm brew.

Tonights menu is straight out of Belgium, a tasty abbey ale named St. Bernardus Abt 12. With the alcohol content of 10.50%, only it’s 330ml of Trappist monk brewed dark ale stands between me and 2008. Murphy’s Irish Stout for desert.

Cheers

Quite the line-up. Should prove to be an outstanding performance. Unless I’m mistaken, Jagermeister is scheduled to make an appearance, too.
