Spend Time On Yourself

Every time I invest my energy into something like studying, pursuing a new activity or tending to some lavish new item, a part of me immediately becomes bored. This is why it is difficult to set goals or accomplish anything, because the mind always comes back to the one thing that does not bore it- itself! It sounds egoistical, but there is nothing more interesting than just existing and uncovering new ways to explore existence through subtle layers of newly discovered consciousness; just as there are various types of intelligence, there are also various types of perception.

Discovering Who You Are Leads To Powerful Thinking

By only investing energy into discovering who you are and what you are capable of doing with the mind, learning how to be a powerful thinker just happens. Because your mind isn’t focused on the false perception of events, only objective and honest observation, the thought process requires more information to absorb, but produces more useful and powerful thoughts. The mind isn’t so “busy” with all its fantasies and opinions, which can cloud judgment. Essentially, this gives one the feeling of having more time, because by just observing the events for what they are, it feels like it’s been “eternity…” Not that much is happening! That’s why stories and exaggerations are made up; to stimulate the mind more through entertainment; live fast and die hard…! But there is more to it than that. One just has to observe.

Noticing What You’re Normally Unaware Of

Sooner or later, the process of the mind will get redundant and boring. Life is certainly not boring, just very subtle. That is why being in the moment is so very important; there being a “slower” sense of time allows you to notice things you’ve never been aware of before, and thus learn from them and about yourself. Furthermore, you are the one observing this awareness and how you perceive it is completely up to you. Doing this is like unlocking … total and complete freedom, only far more immense, because you are unlimited… You’ve just got to experience it. Understand your own depth!

Observation - The Passageway To Freedom

Upon discovering said patterns of behavior through observations, one becomes more creative in their process, because completing everyday tasks are spontaneous and entertaining in their own way. But one has to take the time to notice it! Part of understanding and working with creativity is the ability to critically think to find alternative and more efficient ways to accomplish tasks. As observation continues, a new, more understanding pattern of thinking will occur; this is essentially creating new karma, or patterns of thought and behavior. This is the “freeing” aspect, because what once seemed like a struggle now is spontaneous art.

At first, I thought Guy was writting this, and I was like “oohh BS he doesn’t do that!” and then I saw it was Katone haha.

I believe self-investment is the most essential and rewarding thing you can do in your life. The process is a boundless, continuous unique challenge that has a payment value of priceless.

Yourself is all you really have in this world, the only thing anyone truly owns. Just makes sense to invest in the single most important thing. Perhaps it is conceited or whatever, but when the ish hits the fan, the bombs go off, and riots ensue, I’m taken care of myself and my family. Investing in myself will allow me to take better care of not only myself, but my family as well.

Tits McGee, I agree - continuous challenge is a great way build ones mental strength. Without challenge, how could you exercise the mind? Perhaps kat0ne can elaborate on that. :P
