In an effort to put my server to use, I’ve launched a couple different sites. The intention is to provide a valuable source of entertainment and information, possibly make a little cash, and maybe even sell the sites once they’ve reached some sort of value.

Laugh Out Loud Videos

Laugh out Loud Videos is a site that pulls targeted videos from youtube. The targets, if you hadn’t noticed already, are videos with a humorous or funny themes. Comedy skits, silly clips, just whatever people might find humorous. I often find myself browsing my own site just because of the unique videos easily available. Laugh Out Loud Videos has the potential to generate some 60-80 thousand individual pages, so hopefully Google will eat the site up. Since the launch Christmas day, the site has already received 275 unique visitors. Not bad for a new, upcoming site.

Beer Brewer’s Information

BeerBrewer.info will eventually contain hundreds of beer brewing recipes for all types of beer. Wheat, pale ale, brown ale, you name it. I will admit I’m not a beer brewer myself, but the idea is pretty interesting. Once a decent page rank is established, the site has a few hundred entries, traffic, and revenue, I’ll make an effort to sell the site for whatever it’s worth. A site I browsed not to long ago mentioned Nullamatix.com was worth just over $200, which isn’t bad. I’m sure Beer Brewer’s.Info will reach that status in no time.
