Maddox Strikes Again: This Time Crocs’ Stock Falls Hard

Maddox 1, Crocs 0.

My daily surf routine brought me to this page and immediately initiated a laughing episode like never before. Just 2 days after Maddox’s post entitled, “Fashion Tips For Women From a Guy Who Knows Dick About Fashion,” the company’s share price dramatically dropped. Here’s a screen shot of the action:

crocs suck

Maddox is right, these shoe’s are ridiculous. Here’s an excerpt from his site:

When I see people wearing Crocs, I know immediately that we have nothing in common, and that we could never be friends or have any meaningful kind of relationship. They come in every color imaginable yet look bad with every other article of clothing ever created. The only thing that goes with Crocs is social ostracism. To their credit though, Crocs serve as an excellent idiot barometer; you can tell a lot about people wearing them. For example, Amazon.com suggest products that other customers have purchased based on the item you’re shopping for. Here are the suggestions for Crocs: (visit his site for the rest)…”

Very refreshing to see Maddox still has that much influence on society - perhaps there is hope after all.

Crocs, inc. stock prices fell due to rising concerns about excess inventory and weaker than expected earnings over the last quarter (they published an earnings report the day before the sell-off). This coupled with over zealous investor trading caused the drop, NOT Maddox. Even he would call you a tool for thinking the price drop was caused by him. Here’s a nickel, go buy a clue.
