Entrecard, The Digital Business Card Program That Works

After thirty minutes of being a member of Entrecard I’ve received 16 unique visitors. That’s huge compared to the measly 6 I’ve received from Blogroll within the last couple months. If you haven’t already, goto Entrecard.com and sign up for a free account. Either upload a custom 125×125 digital business card of your choice, or use one of their pre-exisiting templates. Put the code on your sidebar and watch the traffic roll in.

So How Does Entrecard Generate Traffic?

The rules are simple. Earn credits to buy advertising space. Each member places the Entrecard widget on their page. Credits are earned by dropping your Entrecard into someone else’s inbox through their blog/site. Not only does the widget serve as advertising space for members that want to advertise on your blog, but Entrecard members can drop their card into your inbox, earning themselves, and you a credit. Those credits are then used by you to purchase advertising space in someone else’s Entrecard widget area. This is a great way to get exposure, build backlinks, and share your blog with the blogosphere.

Just To Review - Trust Me, It’s Easy

  • Sign up at entrecard.com
  • Upload your 125×125 digital business card, or use one of their templates
  • Drop your digital business card into other members inbox (think of the inbox as a fishbowl at a local restaurant)
  • Each card you drop earns you 1 credit
  • Other members will drop their card in your inbox, earning you and them 1 credit
  • Browse the campaign section to select which sites you’d like to advertise with
  • If you’ve acquired enough credits, and the Entrecard member approves, your digital business card is displayed inside their Entrecard widget for 1 day, minus the amount of required credits

If you’re confused, just sign up. Once you’re logged into the members section, it’s a snap. They provide the code - just start dropping your card. There was no incentive for me to write this article, but the program does work. So go sign up, and drop your Entracard into my inbox.

With the large number of webhosting reviews publishing right and left, there really is no best domain host by default. This is because one web hosting review states hostgator as the most dedicated server, where as the other reviews state it merely just another business hosting services.

That’s really great that you’re getting more traffic, as well as credit so that you have more advertising space. A faster way to “get known,” it seems.

I blog in my notebook. Old school, paper. No one will recognize me there… :D
